Sri Raamanavami Mahothsavam Begins
The ten-day 2026 celebration began with worship, bhajans, Ramayana chanting, festival alankaram and community participation.

Sri Rama Navami — Sita Rama Kalyanam
A highlight of the ten-day Mahothsavam — the celestial wedding (Kalyanam) of Lord Rama and Sita Devi, followed by Swarna Jhoola and prasadam distribution to devotees.

Hanuman Jayanti
Special celebrations honouring Sri Anjaneya on his birth anniversary. Sundara Kanda Parayanam, Hanuman Chalisa recitation, special Abhishekam and Alankaram of the Hanuman shrine.

Tamil Puthandu (Tamil New Year)
Welcoming the Tamil New Year with special pujas and rituals. Traditional Maanga Pachadi preparation symbolizing the mix of experiences in life. Cultural programs celebrating Tamil heritage.

Vinayaka Chaturthi
Grand celebrations for Lord Ganesha with special Ganapathy Abhishekam, Sahasranama Archana, traditional Modaka Nivedhyam, and cultural programs. Temple beautifully decorated for the occasion.

Navaratri (9 Nights of the Divine Mother)
Nine sacred nights celebrating the Divine Mother. Shatha Chandi Maha Yagnam, classical Carnatic music concerts, Bharatanatyam performances, traditional Bommai Kolu display, Saraswati Pooja, and Vidyarambham for children. Culminates in Vijayadashami on Oct 10.

Deepavali — Festival of Lights
The temple illuminated with thousands of traditional oil lamps. Special Lakshmi Pooja, fireworks display, and community celebrations. Prasadam and sweets distribution to all devotees.

Special Vishnu worship with Vaikunta Dwara darshan. Vishnu Sahasranama recitation, special Abhishekam and Alankaram. One of the most auspicious Ekadasi days of the year.

In addition to our major festivals, the temple conducts regular devotional programs throughout the week.
Bhajan Sessions
Daily devotional singing sessions during evening hours, continuing the founding tradition of the Samaj. Join fellow devotees in heartfelt renditions of bhajans and kirtans.
Ramayana Parayanam
Weekly recitation of the Ramayana — the epic story of Lord Rama. A meditative and spiritually uplifting experience for devotees of all ages.
Vishnu Sahasranama
Recitation of the 1000 names of Lord Vishnu. A deeply sacred practice believed to bestow divine blessings, peace, and spiritual progress.
Lalita Sahasranama & Devi Pooja
Special worship of the Divine Mother with recitation of the Lalita Sahasranama — the 1000 names of Goddess Rajarajeshwari. Followed by Kumkumarchana.
Pradosham Pooja
Special evening worship observed on the 13th day of each lunar fortnight. Dedicated to Lord Shiva with special Abhishekam and rituals.
Sankatahara Chaturthi
Monthly Chaturthi observance dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. Special Ganapathy Abhishekam and Modaka Nivedhyam.

Navaratri 2025 — Nine spectacular nights of celebration with Shatha Chandi Maha Yagnam, renowned Carnatic musicians, and traditional Bommai Kolu display that attracted thousands of devotees.
Sri Rama Navami 2025 — Grand 9-day celebration with Ramayana discourses by eminent scholars, Swarna Jhoola ceremony, and Sita Rama Kalyanam attended by over 5,000 devotees.
Deepavali 2025 — Temple illuminated with over 1,000 traditional oil lamps, special Lakshmi Pooja, and community feast serving over 2,000 devotees.
Vinayaka Chaturthi 2024 — Spectacular celebration with special cultural programs, traditional music performances, and elaborate decorations honouring Lord Ganesha.
Tamil Puthandu 2024 — Tamil New Year celebrations with traditional rituals, cultural programs, and community gathering.
Maha Samprokshana Poornabhishekam — April 2022
A historic milestone — the grand consecration ceremony performed after 15 years. Elaborate Vedic rituals spanning several days, Kumbhabhishekam of the Rajagopuram and all shrines, attended by priests from across South India. This monumental event involved months of preparation and drew devotees from across India and abroad.
The ceremony was led by Brahmasri M.V. Ganesh Sastrigal along with a team of learned Vaidikas, reaffirming the temple's spiritual vitality for generations to come.
